Turning On Photo GPS in DJI

Navigate to your photo settings on your phone and toggle “always allow.”

To achieve clear, precise models and measurements, follow these aerial capture guidelines:

  1. Capture your first set of photos at 90 feet altitude
  2. Take a second set at 120 feet altitude
  3. Ensure each height capture includes 15-20 photos
  4. Make sure photos have sufficient overlap

This dual-height capture method provides our software with comprehensive data to generate more accurate models and precise measurements.

  1. Turn your remote controller on.
  2. Turn on your Drone.
  3. Open your DJI Application and allow the application to run through the firmware to check for updates. If there is an update, click update.

All photos must be taken in 4:3 ratio. To configure this:

    1. Access your DJI camera settings
    2. Select the 4:3 aspect ratio option

Your photos must be captured in JPEG format. To adjust this setting:

  1. Open your camera settings
  2. Locate the photo format capture option
  3. Select “JPEG” as your format

If damage detection is not appearing in your job, please verify that the job is marked as complete:

  1. Navigate to your incomplete job
  2. Tap the “Complete” button
  3. Damage detection will automatically initiate, allowing you to begin your reporting
